Weigh your cat prior to administration. Do not administer Capstar to cats weighing less than 2 lbs.
Remove the Capstar tablet from the package.
Place the tablet directly into your cat’s mouth or hide it in food.

Directions for use:
Weigh your cat and get the suitable Selehold pack that corresponds to their body weight.
Remove the pipette from its packaging and hold it in an upright position. Twist and pull the cap off.
Turn the cap around and place its other end back on the pipette. Push and twist it to break the seal, and then remove the cap from the pipette.
Make your cat stand or sit in a comfortable position.
Part the coat at the base of the neck, in front of the shoulder blades, until the skin is visible.
Place the pipette tip onto the skin, and squeeze the pipette several times to empty its contents completely and directly onto your cat’s skin in one spot.
Apply the dose as indicated to minimize the quantity that your cat can lick off.
Avoid contact between the product and your fingers.
Avoid direct contact with the treated pet until the application site is dry. On the day of treatment, do not let children handle the treated pet, and do not let your treated cat sleep with you.
Do not apply it when your cat’s coat is wet. Avoid frequent shampooing to maintain the effectiveness of the product.
For ear mite treatment, do not apply it directly to the ear canal.

Keep the treated pet away from fires and other sources of ignition for at least 30 minutes or until the hair coat is dry.
Wash your hands thoroughly after handling the product. Wash off any product in contact with the skin immediately with soap and water.
In case of accidental eye contact, flush the eyes immediately with water and seek medical advice.
Do not smoke, eat or drink while handling the product.
Handle with caution if you have sensitive skin or are allergic to this type of product.
Dispose of the used applicator immediately.
Precautions
Do not use it in cats that are suffering from concomitant disease, or are debilitated and underweight (for size and age).
Do not use it in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
It is not effective against adult D. immitis. All animals 6 months of age or more should be tested for existing adult heartworm infections before beginning the treatment with selamectin.
